Are some Robust construction temperature sensors that will make it easier for us to measure in all types of industrial environments. They are normally made up of the head, metal or ceramic sheath and the sensor element inside. In all cases, to install the appropriate sensor, will have to consider both the temperature to be controlled as the environment or atmosphere in which you want to install
Construction
With metal head of different dimensions and materials (aluminum, stainless steel) to be used in normal environments and high temperatures. We have PVC heads either melamine, the so-called ABK and BBK, especially indicated for corrosive environments.
Depending on the temperature or atmosphere where the sheath is located, the type of material to be used must be taken into account. According to that information, it may be made of steel, stainless steel in its different varieties, lnconel, ceramics, or other materials suitable for each process
It is very important to take into account the pressure to which the sheath will be subjected. Normally they are waterproof sensors with a welded tip, but in some cases it must be a perforated bar. Regardless of the heads, the diameter and length of the sheath must be specified, as well as the thread or process connection flange.

Pyrometric rods for industrial processes
Custom pyrometric rods with protective sheath in 316 or 310 stainless steel, Inconel 600, Incoloy 800 or with ceramic sleeves in various diameters and lengths.
Typical applications: furnaces and blast furnaces, burners, galvanizing baths, heat treatment baths and, in general, high-temperature thermal applications.
Refractory pyrometric rods
Custom-made pyrometric rods with protective sheath in refractory stainless steel AISI 446 or 310 for corrosive and oxidizing atmospheres.
Temperature range -50ºC to 1150ºC
In accordance with IEC 60584-2 regulations.
Ceramic pyrometric rods
Ceramic pyrometric rods for temperature measurement in high temperature industrial processes.
Temperature range -50ºC to 2200ºC
